Travelling always provided a form of imaginative escape, in the best kind. The escape that is a seeking. Every trip would be a dream that I’d flick through endlessly on the plane ride back home. And then again, at home. Images: moments and captures that inspire me endlessly. I always felt so lucky to be in places I had read about, to have captured this exact ray of light, to have caught a glimpse of the moon at this exact moment behind the minaret. To have noticed stars in the darkness. To be lost chasing this perfect angle and feeling at home still, chasing those moments, without a fear of strangeness and the unknown.
The moments I have captured over the years are precious and full of inspiration for me. Up until March 2020, over the past few years there was always a trip planned, to look forward to, read about and stare at maps obsessively. I always felt closer to the person I want to be after every trip, they made me better. I am the bravest version of myself when travelling, most present and full of wonder. I learned so much about myself travelling and about the people I travelled with.
Today, my travels and the photos captured serve as reminders that my world is so much bigger than what it is right now. It is an honour to share these moments with you and to have them in your homes. I hope they inspire you, bring you light, the best kind of escape and a sense of wonder.
At The Guesthouse, you can purchase high quality prints of moments captured on my travels. The first collection of prints will be from Granada, Palestine & Istanbul.
All prints can be purchased solely as A4/A5 prints or with the frames included. We use premium quality matte heavy weight photo paper, however you can ask for a glossy photo paper finish instead if preferred.
We love our prints and would be happy to design alternative art using the prints: for instance, cards, postcards, bookmarks using the prints. Get in touch if this interests you.

When I read The Guesthouse, I want to be present, to invite and welcome every emotion. And so, The Guesthouse is the present, the expression, the pouring of love, it is the welcoming and giving. It is looking at a part of it, a part of the world, a ray of light, an inscription, a minaret and being able to see so much more.
